Missing Hornlee Mom Found Dead

The body of the missing Emmerentia Witbooi (31) from Hornlee, Knysna was discovered on Sunday night (August 5th, 2012).
Witbooi, who lived with her family and her two children in Charlie Levack Street, Hornlee had been missing since Friday, July 27th. Since then, a wide scale search party was active with SANPARKS, ER24 and Metro Police assisting. The search party functioned from the Knysna Fire Brigade with volunteers offering their services to find Witbooi. The Municipality provided food to all those who formed part of the search party.
Murder is strongly suspected.

Our Purpose in a Nutshell
Our goal is a safer Knysna. Our police and municipality have failed to put the public first, not only refusing transparency and accountability but issuing bizarre statements such as crime is down. If anything, the statistics are being dumbed down and bad cops have permeated the justice system. The only way that we will regain control over our lives is by participating in the process, motivating and reminding them that their job is to protect and serve us, the public.
